No candy on march 12th

So i went out this last weekend and got 2 boxes of snickers, a box of skittles, and a box of gum. My plan was to do as i usually do and sell it on Monday... That didn't happen, I happen to come across a fight in my walking around the school. Nate and I broke up this sad excuse of a fight (2 white trash underclassmen, who probably like ICP). The one kid who Nate had, started to break free so I rushed over and got his hands and pressed him against the wall. The entire time he was trying to get his hands free, he smelled like a mix of cat piss and butt, and on top of that he wouldn't stop yelling. After the fight ended I let go of him he kept yelling about something and I kindly said "please dude shut up" but no he didn't he told me he would call his "boys" and they would come "fuckin kill me" I told him if he had a problem with me he should fight me him self. He didn't but insisted he could "beat my ass," this kid was about 6 inches shorter than me and I had no trouble holding his arms as he tried oh-so hard to get free. I started to make my way up the stairs and he kept yelling and making threats so i just leaned over the rail and spit on him. I have no idea why but this caused him to flip out and he chased me up the stairs as i walked off i could hear him running up to me he stopped and then spit on me. I turned around and looked him in the eyes and told him "come see me when you grow some balls" he started to go off into another rampage about how he was gonna call "people" at that i took my leave and went to the bathroom.

Interesting....

This is just something i found when looking for research for my project.
Earlier this year, Costco Wholesaler was sued for religious discrimination when it sought compliance with its policy prohibiting facial jewelry and discharged a cashier who refused to remove her facial piercings after being asked to do so by management. The policy provided: “appearance and perception play a key role in member service. Our goal is to be dressed professionally at all times…No visible facial or tongue jewelry (earrings permitted).”

When Costco asked the employee to remove her facial jewelry, she cited her religion as the basis for her refusal. The employee, who was a member of the Church of Body Modification (CBM), maintained that wearing facial jewelry was a practice required by her religion.
I looked into it and found the church site http://www.uscobm.com looking deeper the church is real.

The Church of Body Modification has completed all the steps to be a legally recognized Church in the United States (Church of Body Modification has federal recognition). We are currently awaiting nonprofit status from the Internal Revenue Service. The American Chapter of the Church is working with other groups that are forming around the world to become legally recognized in every country as the Church of Body Modification.

So if any member gets fired for tattoos or piercings they and press charges and will win because it is a real church.

More stuffings

I had the consultation with Claudia and it went great. She is going to work on it in chunks starting with the head, from there she said she will free-hand the body as she goes. The original tattoo idea was to have the dragon go up my side and around my shoulder. This was an ok idea, but it really wouldn't look that sweet, it actually would look kinda weird. The new plan for it is to have it kinda sliding around on my back. Keep in mind the picture i drew is crappy and the final dragon wont cover the other tattoo on my back.

Well today...

I went down to Saint Sabrina's and Claudia was sick so the consultation didn't happen. I go back tomorrow at 1:30 and hopefully everything will work out fine. It's pretty cool Claudia is the artist that did my Ms. Pac-man tattoo and I cant wait to talk to her to figure out how this dragon will look. Hopefully by this time tomorrow I will have the first round of pictures to show off.

one week from today...

One week from today (2/7/07) I have my first consultation for my tattoo. After 1 week and 2 days things are really looking good $218 worth of good. So I'm nearly half way to my goal, considering the way things are going i should have the money i need in about 2 weeks. Depending on how things go i might keep selling candy as it is a good way of making some extra money when i am at school. Anyway...

How to Become a Piercer...

So for part of my project i need to spend 20 hours watching someone at work, everything from setup to to cleanup. I plan on visiting a few shops and splitting the time between watching a piercer and watching a tattoo artist. One thing I plan to do after my project is work to get my APP membership. this might be a long process and has several steps. To do this I will need to become CPR cirtified, attend a bloodborne pathogens training class, and obtain an apprenticeship, as tricky as it may sound i have already sent a email requesting info on the "Bloodborne and Airborne Pathogens" class offered by th National Safety Council.

4 days in...

4 days of selling pop and candy have made me 20% closer to the cost of my project. It's really amazing and i thank everyone who has helped me so far. later this week I plan to visit Saint Sabrina's and see if they have an artist that will draw it up for me. When I get this done I will have a more exact idea of the cost. When I am there I will try and find out about the intern hours i need for my project. Ideally I would like to intern half the time as a piercer, and the other half of the time working with an artist.
